Among an olive park, in a building dating back the second half of 1800, at only 20’ by car from Castiglione della Pescaia seaside, you’ll find relax under the bower, tasting our typical maremman cuisine.

The Lupo Vecchio farmholiday arises from the masterly accurate restoration of a typical farmhouse which dates back to the ninenteenth century. 20 Km. far from the beautiful beach of Castiglione della Pescaia, it combines the beauty of the surrounding olive groves and country with the convenience of being near the sea and some places of historical interest.

We wanted to build a small refuge so that the travellers by night, as by a miracle, could find a warm home and a host waiting for them.After looking for it for many months, one day in 1999, at sunset, we found a country house. Dreams, projects, plans and restoration works began in 2000.The outside of the house remained the same but the inside was changed so as to convey the warmth of an old country house.Our key words are respect for nature and respect for humankind.Casa Montecucco is organized in such a way that every guest can feel at home, enjoying our hand painted plates, old lamps, used sofas. Our cuisine has the same taste it had in old times but with modern procedures.Our vegetable garden produces tomatoes, peppers, egg plants, artichokes, peas and broad beans all summer.
